The BRITEX Group is the largest supplier and manufacturer of Stainless Steel Plumbing and associated plumbing fittings and fixtures in Australia.

With our Head Office and Manufacturing base in Melbourne, we are a national supplier with company owned offices in Perth, Brisbane and Sydney (where this position is based)- along with international offices in the USA, China and agents across the globe.

We currently have an opportunity for a Field Sales Manager to join our New South Wales team, this role leads a small, focused team, covering NSW and ACT. Are you looking for that extra step with management responsibility, if so, we encourage you to apply.

This is a hands-on role, mentoring and developing the team, growing sales with face-to-face meetings, developing your own customers at a higher level, project management and support are key factors in the role.

Our goal is to attract the best candidate that will become an integral part of our team and drive business growth through new and existing customers in New South Wales / ACT. This candidate will possess ambition, is not afraid of hard work to progress their career, and love working with a great team.

Experience in the Plumbing / Building Industry, understanding sales process, industry /market knowledge from previous roles would be  of an advantage.

This role is imperative to the success of the state, as it's often the first point of contact for our customers.

You must be motivated, punctual, reliable and have a strong can-do work ethic, with the ability to communicate with all - from the worksite to the boardroom.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Reporting directly to the either the interim New South Wales State Manager (or National Sales Manger) and working closely with the head office sales team.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with industry stakeholders, including architects, Plumbing/ Hardware merchants, Plumbing contractors, and Builders in both New South Wales & ACT

Develop and implement a strategic plan to increase sales, focusing on target segments

Collaborate with product development to ensure feedback from the market is incorporated into product improvements

Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the product line, including technical specifications, design elements, and applications

Maintain regular follow-up with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, identify upselling opportunities, and secure repeat business

Mentoring and developing the sales team for growth and success.

Track all client interactions, sales activities, and deal progress in CRM software.
