J G King Homes, Regional Victoria's largest builder of Steel Frame homes, is seeking an energetic & highly motivated individual to join our Geelong team.

The presentation of Tenders & Contracts (Site Cost FBQ, Final FBQ and Contracts signed) to customers at an arranged time and at the Area Office.

This role is a hands-on position which will also plan and direct the operations of the department to achieve production as forecasted, maintain Customer Service Standards, and promote safe work practices as per Company policies, Safety Regulations, Acts and Codes of Practice within budget constraints.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience (preferably within the New Home industry or similar field) with strong attention to detail & be task driven.

(This is not an entry level role)

Task;

  • Facilitate and co-ordinate the tender & contract presentation process;
  • Sign Tenders and contracts on behalf of the Company;
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction;
  • Build strong working relationships with your customers, colleagues and suppliers within your team;
  • Reduce workflow timeframes by ensuring tenders and contracts are reviewed and signed within forecasted timelines. Review tender and contract specifications ensuring adequacy and accuracy for the Business requirements;
  • Ensure job margins are not compromised through the tender and contract process;
  • Return customer phone calls within 24 hours;
  • Pro-active and effective customer complaints resolution; and
  • Review Job packs submitted by the sales team and collaborate directly with relevant team members to ensure the documentation is thorough and of high quality
  • Provide regular weekly updates to Workflow Manager /or equivalent within JG King Regions on Workflow results
  • Focus on driving current weekly / monthly individual targets for each direct report as well as future months forecasting
  • Understand all company administration policies and procedures and educate your team members to achieve the same understanding
  • Oversee the training and development of current and new administration assistants.
  • Small portfolio of clients if required
  • Conducting weekly team workflow meetings when required

Skills;

  • Min 3 years experience
  • Reporting to workflow manager
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills
  • High level of professionalism and customer service;
  • Be able to multi task;
  • Good time management skills and proactive;
  • Desire to work in a dynamic changing environment;
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload;
  • Accuracy and tidiness of work presentation;
  • Ability to work unsupervised with a proven track record;
  • Interpersonal and good written and oral communication skills;
  • Strong work ethics; and
  • Good with Microsoft Office.
