Due to high value projects, the company requires a contracts Manager to join the large civil contracting team

**Your new role**

The contracts manager with experience in civil construction is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of contracts related to civil construction projects. This includes negotiating and drafting contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and managing the performance of contractors, subcontractors, and the contract administrators

Key responsibilities of a contracts manager:

- Measuring and describing the work including the preparation of tender documentation and negotiation with contractors and clients
- Must be able to design a full sub-contractor’s contract
- Preparing and using detailed budgets and cost plans
- Managing a team of Contracts Administrators
- Preparing and interpreting turnover / cash flow projections and profit / loss forecasts
- Undertaking the valuing of variations and potential variations
- Preparing and presentation of financial control
- The preparation and agreement of final accounts

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in construction, with a focus on contract management.
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills, with a thorough understanding of legal and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong budget management and risk management skills.
