Position:

As a growing and progressive transport company, you will be responsible for ensuring that all deliveries for any given day are allocated and completed correctly. You will have a thorough understanding of CoR principles including strong Fatigue Management understanding along with NHVR requirements. This role is predominantly Monday – Friday with overtime available most weekends.

Duties:

· allocating runs for drivers and vehicles

· Ensuring driver runs are efficiently structured

· Liaising with customers

· Monitoring driver performance and on-time performance

· Communicating expectations to drivers

· Compliance with all relevant legal requirement

Capacity to identify and resolve logistical issues efficiently.

Personal Specification:

  1. Good understanding of 1STOP and Container Chain

  2. Knowledge of fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility

  3. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.

  4. Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  5. Great team player but also able to work independently.

  6. Self-starting, motivated, organised with an attention to detail

  7. Can Do attitude and motivated to achieve results

  8. A strong mix of achievement focus and relationship building

  9. Professional manner

  10. Knowledge of NHVR and CoR.

  11. Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation

  12. Strong computer literacy

  13. Efficient time management skills

  14. MUST have experience in general freight transport and logistics.
