Your New Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Organisational Development, as Senior Advisor, Leadership and Talent, you will design and deliver initiatives that strengthen leadership capability, enhance performance, and build a thriving culture. Working closely with People & Culture Business Partners, leaders and teams, you'll lead key people processes including development, performance and talent management, while also enhancing our leadership development and early career pathways. This role is pivotal in driving the Development Victoria People Plan and creating impactful experiences that enable our people to thrive and perform at their best.
Core Accountabilities:
- Design, deliver, and continuously improve organisational development programs to build leadership capability, culture, and performance.
- Manage the annual development and performance cycle, ensuring leaders and employees have the tools and resources to drive high performance.
- Coordinate talent management practices, including succession planning and data insights to support executive decision-making.
- Project manage and facilitate leadership development programs and capability-building initiatives.
- Design and implement measurement frameworks to evaluate and improve leadership programs.
- Develop and oversee early careers programs, including internships and graduate pathways.
- Identify and execute improvements to systems, processes, and resources to enhance the employee experience.
- Maintain and improve self-service resources and information on the intranet for leaders and employees.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure quality and responsiveness of program
About You
You are an experienced organisational development professional who thrives on creating impactful programs that build leadership capability, talent management practices and enhance the employee experience. You bring strong collaboration skills, critical thinking, and a passion for continuous improvement.
You will bring:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in education, human resources, or business (postgraduate qualifications advantageous).
- Demonstrated experience in HR, organisational development, or learning and development;
- Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end within People and Culture, delivering outcomes on time.
- Exceptional collaboration, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making ability, considering employee experience and organisational context.
- Advanced communication skills to lead conversations across all levels and mediums.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms and leveraging system capabilities to support HR processes and insights.
