About the ro**

leOur Sydney-based Corporate and Financial Services team is seeking a Lawyer to join our growing practice. This role offers a diverse mix of corporate and financial services work, with a particular focus on primary sectors in the financial services market including investment funds, managed investments, banking, payments in and insurance products and services with a particular interest in the digital economy including digital assets, and related broader corporate/commercial matter

s.

This role will see you supporting in the delivery of high-quality, practical advice across areas such

  • as:Chapter 7 (Financial Services regime) and Part 5C (managed investment schemes) of the Corporations
  • ActFinancial services licensing, compliance, governance and disclos
  • ureAML/CTF obligations and complia
  • nceBanking and Payments including digital economy Fundraising and licensing matt
  • ersEmerging fintech and digital assets and such as cry
  • ptoAdvising clients on the development and launch of innovative financial products and solutio
