Account Manager – Venue Partnerships

Carriageworks is looking for an energetic and motivated Venue Partnerships Account Manager to jump into a 12-month contract with the potential to become permanent.. ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director, Commercial & Venue Partnerships, you will:

• Manage relationships with major event partners, film and production clients, and corporate event organisers.
• Drive commercial revenue across venue hire, catering, ticketing, retail, and other streams.
• Deliver outstanding account management, ensuring seamless event planning and execution.
• Oversee venue operations, maintaining CRM and event management systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional client experiences.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone with:

• Experience in event, venue, or account management – either tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Business / Event / Venue Management) or equivalent hands-on experience in an events, venue or sales related role.
• A track record in business development and client relationship management.
• Strong negotiation skills and a solutions-focused approach.
• Excellent administration and CRM/database management experience.
• A passion for the arts, cultural industries, and major events.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to high-quality service delivery.
