About the Project

The Verdun Interchange Upgrade is a major infrastructure initiative improving access to and from the South Eastern Freeway. Delivered by BMD in joint venture with Leed, this project will enhance safety, connectivity, and traffic flow in the Adelaide Hills region.

About the Role

As HSEQ Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across the project. You will work closely with site teams to foster a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor HSEQ management systems in line with company and legislative requirements
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Provide guidance and training to project teams on HSEQ practices
  • Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions
  • Prepare and maintain accurate HSEQ documentation and reports
  • Support the project team in achieving and exceeding HSEQ targets and objectives

About You

  • Previous experience in an HSEQ role within civil construction or infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of Australian HSEQ legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to positively influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Relevant qualifications in WHS, Environmental Management, Quality Systems or similar.
