**The Role**
As our Safety Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the implementation of safety policies, procedures and practices across our projects. You will also drive continual improvements to our Business Management System (BMS) to meet ISO certifications standards. Additionally, you will implement and oversee workplace health, safety, environmental and quality initiatives.

This position requires a hands-on, on-site presence to support team members with ongoing learning and development, while providing expert guidance on all health and safety matters.

This role is Monday to Friday and involves regular site visits, both metropolitan and regional, throughout the month to ensure a safe working environment.
- Duties and Responsibilities:_
- Implement safety practices that align with our business operations
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that the BMS processes and deliverables meet the requirements of the ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, and ISO27001 standards, while overseeing continuous improvement.
- Initiate and organise HSEQ training of team members and managers.
- Conduct risk audits, inspections and safe work observations.
- Coordinate and support external audits to maintain ISO certifications.
- Facilitate and lead the Return-To-Work SA injury management, recovery and return-to-work processes within the organisation.
- Facilitate risk management processes, including risk assessments, hazard identification, and JSEAs/SWMS.
- Lead the reporting, investigation of HSEQ incidents, and communicate the corrective actions and lessons learned.
- Coach and mentor team members and managers on relevant HSEQ processes to ensure regulatory compliance, prevent accidents and maintain high quality standards.

**About You**
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following knowledge, capabilities and qualities:

- Construction Industry Experience
- Certificate IV in OH&S or relevant qualifications.
- Return-To-Work Coordinator certification training is desirable, or willing to undertake
- Comprehensive knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations and codes of practice with the ability to apply, communicate and facilitate compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes, drive change and foster a strong health and safety culture.
- Knowledge and experience working with certified ISO management systems.
- Self-motivated with the ability to be proactive and solutions driven with tasks
- Ability to multi-task and successfully manage competing priorities
