About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions across Microsoft, Citrix, Exchange, Office 365, SQL Server, storage, and networking platforms. This role combines technical expertise with stakeholder engagement, working across pre-sales, solution design, and delivery oversight to ensure successful client outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, scope, and document infrastructure solutions aligned with client requirements and business goals.
  • Provide architectural oversight throughout delivery, ensuring solutions are implemented as designed.
  • Support pre-sales activities including workshops, scoping sessions, and solution demonstrations.
  • Translate business requirements into technical architectures and present solution options.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, acting as a strategic advisor.
  • Facilitate workshops with technical and business stakeholders to ensure solution alignment.

Skills & Experience

Mandatory:

  • 10+ years' experience in IT solution design and implementation.
  • Strong technical knowledge across Microsoft, Citrix, storage, and networking platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (essential).

Desirable:

  • Experience delivering enterprise solutions across Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Exchange, O365, and SQL Server.
  • Citrix expertise (virtual apps/desktops, infrastructure).
  • Strong networking knowledge (LAN/WAN/WLAN, firewalls, routing, switching).
  • Exposure to cloud, hybrid, and large-scale integration projects.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
  • Relevant industry certifications (MCSA/MCSE, Citrix, Cisco, TOGAF, etc.).
