Follyfoot Farm Juniors by Busy Bees is a welcoming, nature-rich early learning centre with 81 licensed places, located in the beautiful community of Fountaindale, NSW. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join our team on a fixed-term maternity leave contract.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the delivery of engaging, play-based programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

  • Mentor and guide educators to ensure high-quality practice

  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues

  • Support and oversee documentation, observations, learning plans, and assessments

  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

  • Contribute to the service's ongoing commitment to meeting NQS and Busy Bees quality standards

  • Bring initiative, leadership, and a commitment to continuous improvement

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved)

  • Proven experience in a Lead Educator or senior educator role

  • Valid NSW Working with Children Check (Employee)

  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis

  • Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting certification

  • Excellent understanding of EYLF and NQS

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

  • Australian working rights
