About the Role

We're on the lookout for a passionate and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our Head Office team. In this key role, you'll lead the way in ensuring our centres exceed quality standards and uphold the highest level of child safety and compliance.

You'll work alongside our leadership and operational teams to drive improvement, support regulatory processes, and embed best practices that ensure every Grove Academy centre continues to be a place where children feel safe, supported, and inspired.

Key responsibilities include:

Regulatory Compliance

• Lead investigations into reportable conduct, ensuring child safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
• Develop, review, and refine policies and procedures to maintain consistency and adherence to regulations.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the National Quality Framework, regulations, and laws to ensure compliance.
• Manage compliance processes, track incidents, and ensure timely reporting to meet regulatory deadlines.

Quality Assurance

• Conduct audits and assessments to monitor compliance, quality, and operational effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate compliance records, identify operational gaps, and drive continuous improvements.
• Support the development of sector-leading compliance frameworks to enhance service quality.

Training, Coaching, and Support

• Provide expert guidance and training to Area Managers, Centre Directors, and Educators.
• Contribute to responses for Assessment and Rating provide compliance guidance and ensure high-quality submissions for regulatory bodies.

Risk Management

• Assess and monitor incident trends, deliver tailored training, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Analyse data to identify trends, mitigate risks, and inform strategic improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience in child protection investigations, workplace investigations, or compliance roles
• Understands the National Quality Framework and childcare regulations inside and out
• Is confident leading reviews, audits, and policy development
• Is an excellent communicator and loves supporting teams to grow
• Holds a relevant qualification in investigations, education, or compliance (e.g. Cert IV in Government Investigations)
• Has a valid Working with Children Check, Police Check, and Driver's Licence
