Key Engagement Responsibilities:

- Coordinate content in conjunction with the Executive Officer (EO) and Communications Coordinator, including collating industry news and grant opportunities, seeking engaging content for members, and writing a monthly "in-focus" article. Also, seek opportunities for cross-promotion and extension of SPAA education.
- Maintaining the Mailchimp SPAA network database, including uploading contacts who have authorised their email addresses to the database after every SPAA event and webinar in collaboration with the Communications Coordinator.
- Update SPAA website content related to the E-News (Membes) as required.
- Distribute content as required by the EO and Communications Coordinator.
Precision Ag News (PAN)
- Create and coordinate Precision Ag News's editorial schedule, ensuring that deadlines are met and content has gone through the agreed-upon governance process.
- Liaison between the Editorial Committee, EO and content creators.
- Provide a brief story angle and any context provided to content creators.
- Review the PAN mailing list for accuracy and seek opportunities to grow readership numbers.
- Oversee and maintain the printing and distribution of PAN.
- Manage advertising deliverables for long-term partners.
- Ensure that all content for PAN is saved in the format required by external suppliers and that agreed deadlines have been met.
- Work with the Communications Coordinator to create internal advertising as required.
- Work with the Communications Coordinator and EO to finalise the President's report.
- Provide any necessary support to content creators, EO and Editorial Committee as required.
- Provide a quarterly report on distribution numbers, expenses, key learnings, open rates (online) and opportunities for future editions.
- Send proof to the Communications Coordinator for proofreading and editing.
- Coordinate final approval by the EO.
- Administration of PAN distribution by mail and electronic mailout.
- Uploading to ISSU (digital platform for viewing PAN) and distributing to online subscribers.
- Manage invoices related to PAN (authors, designers, and printers).
- Collaborate with the editorial committee, Communications Coordinator, and contracted journalist to ensure informative, high-quality content.
Membership
- Responsible for accurately administering, processing, and managing the SPAA membership database Membes. This includes setting up payment forms through the online payment gateway and working with the Finance & Administration Officer to ensure payment reconciliation.
- Working with the EO and Communications Coordinator to develop and implement two annual membership promotions per year.
- Storage and distribution of new member packs via mail and e-mail.
- Updating membership fees and ensuring that website content concerning membership is accurate.
Providing an accurate, high-level, quarterly report on SPAA Membership numbers according to categories, churn, trends, growth, details of new members and state distribution.
Seek and implement new opportunities to grow membership.

- Responsible for managing logistics of event items during bump out.
- Developing event evaluation, in conjunction with the Communications Coordinator, to identify further learning opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Flexibility in attending and delivering interstate SPAA events, including Expo and Symposium.
Sponsorship Coordination
- Monitor sponsorship agreements to ensure SPAA delivers on commitments.
- Notify the EO of upcoming sponsor renewals.
