Job Description:

Do you have a passion and a committment to caring for the environment through engagement and participation of community? The Eyre Peninsula Landscape Board is seeking an Aboriginal Engagement Officer who will play a key role engaging with the Eyre Peninsula's Aboriginal community and organisations to identify areas of mutual benefit, build cultural competency with the Eyre Peninsula Landscape Board (the Board) and staff and ensure projects and initiatives of the Board and partner organisations include Aboriginal engagement and participation.

The role will develop, implement, monitor, and report on an Aboriginal engagement and participation plan (the Plan) for the Board. The role will be responsible for working closely with local Aboriginal organisations to set clear targets and methods for engaging in collaborative activities and initiatives. The role's location is open to negotiation at either Port Lincoln or Whyalla and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
