Join us as a Wellbeing Systems Support Delivery Officer (Clerk Grade 9/10)
Join the Team Around a School and help deliver stronger wellbeing outcomes for students across NSW. As a Wellbeing Systems Support Delivery Officer, you'll work directly with schools to improve whole-school wellbeing systems, strengthen proactive prevention initiatives, and support student behaviour, attendance and engagement.

- Required to work four (4) days per week either in an identified education office location or delivering face to face support in schools.
- Clerk Grade 9/10 with base salary ranging from $129,464 to $142,665 per annum, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
- Temporary full-time opportunity up to three (3) years

About the Student Wellbeing Support Directorate
Student Wellbeing Support provide direct support to schools to strengthen accessible and inclusive education practice to maximise wellbeing and learning for students in NSW public schools. The Student Wellbeing Support directorate includes four Student Wellbeing Support groups that service our schools across various principal networks. Student Wellbeing Support advances equitable outcomes through outcomes focused programs, systems, and processes.
Schools access our support through the one-call, Team Around a School model. The Team Around a School helps school teams to improve student learning and wellbeing practices and strengthens school and staff initiatives across the care continuum. We are a key enabler of the department's Plan for Public Education and are committed to ensuring we provide support to schools that is efficient, effective, and easy to access.
About the role
This role works as part of Team Around a School, delivering face-to-face support in public schools across NSW. The Wellbeing Systems Support Delivery Officer will support school system improvement, enabling a team to deliver the strategic implementation of evidence informed whole school wellbeing approaches and proactive prevention initiatives involving sensitive and complex matters.
The role will assist in the delivery of project planning and coordination, analysis of data, evaluation and effective development of school systems linked to supporting student behaviour, wellbeing and attendance.
This role ensures strong collaboration between staff within Team Around a School to deliver on departmental priorities and ensure program implementation meets school needs and delivers equitable outcomes for students.

Key knowledge and experience:
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of systems to support whole school wellbeing, behaviour and attendance.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications and demonstrated experience in a field relevant to wellbeing support provision to children and young people. This could include, but is not limited to teaching in schools, psychology, social work and adolescent mental health.
- Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment (or willing to acquire one)
- A current and valid driver's licence is required. Statewide travel will be required.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
