About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and results driven Operations Excellence Manager to lead the development and execution of transformative strategies aimed at improving operational performance across the business.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you'll work closely with cross functional teams including operations, manufacturing, finance, and supply chain to drive cost saving initiatives, identify inefficiencies, and implement lasting improvements that align with strategic objectives. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic, high growth environment and enjoys creating meaningful change.
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
- Lead cross-functional efficiency projects that drive cost savings, improve workflows, and align with strategic goals
- Analyse business processes and systems to identify and implement practical, high-impact improvements
- Facilitate the adoption of new technologies and ERP enhancements to streamline operations
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimise supply chain and resource utilisation
- Deliver training on continuous improvement tools methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), new technologies, and foster a culture of operational excellence
- Report to senior leadership on performance outcomes, including efficiency gains, cost savings, and sustainability metrics
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years experience in business process improvement, operations management or a similar role, ideally within industrial manufacturing or project-based industries
- Proven success implementing efficiency projects and delivering tangible cost savings
- Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar methodologies (certification preferred, e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt).
- Proficiency with ERP systems (MS Dynamics/BC desirable) and data tools like Power BI, coupled with advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
