With multiple new projects underway around the Gold Coast and Brisbane region, we're expanding our team and looking for reliable, safety‑focused Hoist Operators to join us.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking individuals who:

• Hold a valid Hoist/Materials & Personnel Hoist ticket and a current White Card.
• Have proven experience operating site hoists (personnel and/or material hoists) on construction sites.
• Demonstrate strong reliability — punctuality, consistent attendance and ability to work through site shifts.
• Maintain a friendly, respectful, and helpful attitude on site; aware that the hoist is a critical piece of site logistics.
• Communicate clearly with ground crew, trades and supervisors and follow site safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate site hoists to transport materials and personnel safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre‑operational inspections on the hoist equipment (brakes, cables, rails, car, emergency systems) and log findings.
• Monitor hoist operation, load limits and operator signals; immediately report faults or issues.
• Assist with loading/unloading of materials, equipment and personnel at various levels (multiple floors) as required.
• Adhere to all company and site‑specific safety policies and procedures, maintain PPE and high‑vis standards.
• Maintain records of hoist use, inspections, maintenance logs and comply with site documentation demands.
• Work flexibly with site schedule, including early mornings, nights or weekend shifts when required.

Essential Requirements

• Valid Hoist ticket (Materials &/or Personnel) and White Card.
• Proven construction site hoist experience; preferably on high‑rise/medium‑rise builds or major infrastructure projects.
• Fully equipped with PPE: work boots, hard hat, high‑vis, etc.
• Fluent in English; strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual and proactive in a dynamic construction environment.
