We're Hiring: Practice Nurse (EN or RN) – 5 Week Annual Leave Cover

We're looking for a Practice Nurse (EN or RN) to join us on a 5-week casual contract at Next Practice Prahran—a GP clinic that's redefining what healthcare can feel like.

About Us:

We're a modern, purpose-built general practice located in the historic Old Station Hotel, right next to Prahran Station. Our clinic is calm, welcoming, and filled with a team who genuinely care about each other and the patients we support. We pride ourselves on taking a thoughtful, values-based approach to care.

About the Role:

This casual contract covers 5 weeks of annual leave from Monday 3 November to Wednesday 3 December, with set days on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (8:30am–4:30pm). While days are fixed, we can offer some flexibility on hours for the right candidate.

More than just filling a gap, we're looking for someone who will bring energy, care, and teamwork to our clinic.

You'll be a great fit if you:

• Have a passion for improving patient outcomes through chronic disease management and preventative care
• Are experienced in GP Management Plans and Health Assessments
• Enjoy the variety of general practice nursing: immunisations, wound care, ECGs, spirometry, and more
• Love working as part of a supportive, proactive team
• Are curious about expanding your skills—training provided in Emsculpt Neo and microneedling if interested

Imagine walking into a medical practice where you feel you are taking the best step forward for your health from the moment you walk in.

You are greeted by a friendly team member, your Patient Advocate, who assists you with your onboarding questionnaire. This is to ensure you get the best possible personalised care during your visit.

You are invited to take a seat and instead of the standard chairs all in a row you can choose to get comfortable in an area that suits you. You decide to sit next to our Japanese Zen Garden. You feel relaxed and calm.

The Reception Area no longer feels like a clinical place of waiting and instead you feel supported and held. You are proactively completing information about your health and reading education whilst you wait. Before you know it, your Nurse and Practitioner greet you for your consult.
