**About the business**

Prahran Market Clinic is a well-established practice looking for a medical receptionist to join our team. Prahran Market Clinic is a large multi-disciplinary clinic with a strong LBGTI focus. We currently have 11 GPs, 3 nurses and 6 allied health professionals

**About the role**

**Skills and knowledge**
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
- A professional, caring, positive and friendly attitude
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Ability to use Microsoft office suite, and ability to learn new IT programs
- Medical reception experience would be advantageous but is not essential

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- Greeting patients into the clinic
- Processing patient accounts
- Answering phones
- Providing administration support to doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and practice manager
- Providing administration support to patients
- Scheduling patient appointments
- General administration duties

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

COVID-19 considerations:
All providers, staff and patients are required to wear a face mask
