Housekeeping Staff – Gold Coast

About the Role

Serene Facility Group is looking for a dedicated and detail-focused Housekeeper to join our team in the Gold Coast area. This full-time position plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our facilities to ensure a memorable experience for our guests.

Candidates must have valid Australian work rights or hold a valid work visa.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces to the highest standards
  • Replenish supplies, linens, and amenities in guest rooms and public areas
  • Identify and report maintenance issues promptly to relevant teams
  • Support special cleaning projects and event preparations when required
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Comply with all health, safety, and security guidelines
  • Complete a police check as part of the security requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles, ideally within hospitality
  • Minimum of 1+ years housekeeping experience is required
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Friendly and professional communication style
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and public holidays
  • Availability for day shifts only is required
