Your Impact

As a Business Development Executive (BDE), you'll drive growth in distribution, volume, profitability, and brand presence across your territory of Metro Southern. You'll be accountable for hitting sales targets and execution standards, ensuring KPIs are met or exceeded.

This role brings the 'One Asahi' strategy to life in-store, leveraging our full multi-beverage portfolio. You'll build strong relationships with key local customers, including supporting contract negotiations and Joint Business Plans. It's a fast-paced, customer-facing role with real ownership and impact.

Key Accountabilities:

Deliver Commercial Plans

Build and execute financial sales targets, promotional plans, and in-store execution to meet and exceed KPIs.

Drive Distribution & Visibility

Achieve core product ranging, space, and promotional compliance, while identifying over-and-above opportunities.

Execute Sales Processes

Apply consistent sales techniques, tools, and standards to maximise performance across the territory.

Manage Customer Relationships

Build strong, long-term customer partnerships through effective call planning, frequency, and understanding of business needs.

Identify Growth Opportunities

Monitor in-store performance, analyse territory metrics, and recommend actions to unlock commercial value.

Share Insights and Learnings

Conduct regular reviews and collaborate with peers to share market trends, execution insights, and continuous improvement ideas.

About you

  • Experience in field sales within the FMCG industry
  • Strong relationship-building and customer management skills
  • Confident communicator with proven influencing and negotiation abilities
  • Skilled in selling value propositions, products, and brands
  • Analytical mindset with strong numerical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organised with a structured, data-driven approach to planning and execution
