About the role
We seek a talented, results driven Business Development Executive who has a track record of collaborating working within, and thriving in, a competitive hospitality Sales environment. The Business Development Executive’s primary role is to assist the Business Development Managers to establish, build and diversify robust sales pipelines, to in turn help shape the long-term Sales strategies and continuous growth across both Stamford Adelaide properties. We seek an excitable professional who is ready to make a tangible contribution to the growing South Australian tourism and hospitality industry.
This position reports to the Area Director of Sales.
Core requirements of your role
Take a proactive approach to client relationship cultivation, through personable and genuine interactions via phone and face-to-face
Maintain accurate client information in relevant internal databases for the ease of tracking by the wider Sales and Events Teams
Act as the primary point of contact for client sales enquiries, and either support or independently conduct site inspections as required
Collaborate closely with the Business Development Managers to achieve preset KPIs and objectives that are conductive to the longevity of Sales for the Hotels
Liaise with key stakeholders and provide timely and friendly feedback to create and maintain outstanding rapport with prospective and existing clients, both internally and
Provide robust and seamless administrative support to the Team, such as meeting minute taking, proposal writing and quotes, data oversight and ad hoc reporting
Play at active role in the preparation of contracts, client liaison and timely follow up, and the coordination of RSVP lists for the Conference & Events team for invitation events
Proactively participate in Sales meetings, coming armed with innovation ideas to show a solution-oriented perspective to Sales for the prosperity of our Adelaide properties.
About you
**We seek a motivated team player who embodies the following**:
Proven sales experience, including not only meeting but exceeding targets
Previous experience as a Sales Coordinator or Executive in the hospitality industry
Previous success with driving sales processes from ideation to close
Sound ability to articulate the distinct aspects of Stamford’s products and services
Undeniable ability to position products and services in a favourable light against competitors
Delphi & Opera knowledge (desirable)
