Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
  • Work with Supervisors to plan production, considering labour utilisation and third-party supply, to meet customer demand and delivery goals.
  • Create the master schedule and translate it into detailed weekly schedules.
  • Plan material availability and stock levels to meet customer requirements and expedite where required.
  • Monitor sales orders and build them into the master production plan daily.
  • Coordinate information with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure plans meet customer commitments.
  • Report on output to plan, backlogs, and past due orders, and liaise with operations on variations and areas for improvement.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Production Management, with five years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
  • Experience using inventory/production ERP systems (preferably SAP), ideally in automotive or machinery industries.
  • Desirable experience in make-to-order and make-to-stock engineering environments.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, such as one-piece flow, production leveling, and pull systems.
