Role Description

As a Data Analyst at Hutly, you will play a critical role in unlocking the value of our rich property data assets. Working across multiple brands, you will collect, clean, enrich, analyse, and present data to support smarter decisions, operational efficiency, and outstanding customer experiences for the property sector. You will partner with cross-functional teams, helping deliver insights that power product innovation, customer success, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Data Preparation & Enrichment:

Collect, clean, validate, and enrich datasets from diverse sources including PropertyData, Bondable, ADL Forms, and VicForms.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

Perform exploratory, descriptive, and trend analysis on property market, contract, and transaction data.

Data Visualisation:

Design and maintain clear, insightful dashboards and reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

Call Centre & Operations Data:

Analyse operational and call centre data to inform business process improvements, support customer service excellence, and optimise internal workflows.

Process & Data Quality Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve data pipelines, automate manual tasks, and ensure ongoing data integrity and security.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and external partners to scope requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:

Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analysis processes.

Qualifications

  • Analytical Skills and Data Analytics expertise
  • Strong background in Statistics
  • Effective Communication skills
  • Data Modelling experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience with real estate data is a plus
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools

Location

This is a full-time on-site Data Analyst role located in Brisbane, QLD at Hutly.

Skills & Experience

Required:

  • 3 years in a Data Analyst or similar role (real estate, SaaS, fintech, or related sector preferred).
  • Proficiency in SQL and data wrangling within relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.).
  • Experience cleaning, validating, and enriching complex data sets.
  • Solid skills in Excel and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
  • Experience developing and automating regular dashboards and reports.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with real estate, financial, or operational/call centre data.
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms (BigQuery, AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Understanding of privacy, compliance, and data security best practices.
  • Previous experience in a high-growth, product-driven technology company.
