About Your Role: Planning Manager

As a Planning Manager, you will lead a team of planners to develop, manage, and monitor procurement and repair plans in line with demand ensuring contractual commitments and customer satisfaction are met. You will ensure the plans meet customer needs, adhering to time, cost, and quality objectives, while actively engaging in continuous improvement. This is a full-time permanent role based in Garden Island, NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate and develop the planning team.
  • Ensure alignment between the demand and supply plans.
  • Identify deviations and escalate major alerts, proposing and monitoring alternative solutions.
  • Ensure accurate planning parameters in the ERP system and coordinate root cause analysis for deviations.
  • Participate in S&OP through supply reviews, developing the plan, and managing demand/forecast.
  • Improve supply chain performance through analysis and targeted actions.

Your Skills:

  • Formal qualifications in APICS. Lean/Six Sigma desirable.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop people.
  • Mastery of ERP, MRP, and PLM systems and a high degree of proficiency with excel.
  • Proficiency in S&OP/IBP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to transparency and effective information sharing.
  • Knowledge of repair processes desirable.
