This well-regarded infrastructure consultancy is seeking a Planning Lead to join our dynamic team in their Sydney, the Central Coast, or Newcastle. This is a permanent opportunity to take on a leadership role within a collaborative and values-driven consultancy.
Your new role
As a Planning Manager within this nationally recognised business, you will be responsible for leading high-impact projects, mentoring a talented team, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. You'll foster a collaborative and high-performance culture while contributing to the strategic direction of the business. Tasks include but are not limited to:
Leading and mentoring a team of urban and regional planners.
- Driving project delivery across strategic planning, rezoning, and community development.
- Building and maintaining trusted relationships with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders.
- Playing a key role in business development and identifying new opportunities.
- Contributing to strategic decision-making and organisational growth.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have a relevant tertiary qualification in Planning as well as relevant industry experience working in a managerial role. Experience required would include at least 8-10 years' in a previous planning position.
