Position Objective

The Business Development Manager – Corporate Sales is a senior sales role focused on driving new business for Navarra's premium corporate events and catering services. This position is ideal for a polished, well-connected sales professional with a strong network and proven experience engaging high-value corporate clients across industries including government, finance, legal, education, and technology.

You will be responsible for promoting Navarra's luxury venues and tailored corporate catering offerings, delivering exceptional client experiences from initial contact to contract close.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Outbound Business Development

  2. Proactively generate new business through outbound sales activity, cold outreach, and strategic networking.

  3. Promote Navarra's luxury venues and tailored corporate catering solutions to decision-makers.
  4. Build a targeted pipeline with a focus on high-spend, high-frequency corporate clients.

  5. Sales Strategy & Target Achievement

  6. Develop and execute sales strategies for growing corporate event and catering revenue.

  7. Consistently meet or exceed sales and conversion targets.
  8. Report on lead generation, conversion activity, and performance insights.

  9. Client Relationship Management

  10. Build long-term relationships with corporate clients, executive assistants, and procurement contacts.

  11. Manage the client journey from initial enquiry through to contract handover, ensuring seamless communication.
  12. Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and custom corporate catering packages.

  13. Tender & Proposal Development

  14. Lead the preparation of tailored proposals and RFP responses for events and catering services.

  15. Present Navarra's luxury offering with confidence and commercial insight.
  16. Win repeat business through personalised service and high-value engagement.

  17. Brand Representation & Industry Engagement

  18. Represent Navarra at corporate networking events, expos, and executive business functions.

  19. Serve as an ambassador for both Navarra's event spaces and premium catering services.
  20. Highlight venues including Le Montage, Curzon Hall, Oatlands House, Conca D'oro, and Villa Navarra in all client engagements.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Hospitality, Event Management, or related field.
  • Current NSW Driver's License and access to vehicle for travel across Greater Sydney.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years in outbound corporate sales or business development.
  • Strong, existing corporate network in NSW is essential.
  • Experience selling luxury hospitality, venues, or catering solutions preferred.
  • High-level communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence in CRM tools, proposal systems, and reporting platforms.
