MRF is a fully integrated operation with a Local Seafood Restaurant, Commercial Fishing Vessel Marina, Unloading Wharf, Commercial Diesel Supply, Cold Storage, Ice Making Plant, Retail Seafood Market, Local Hospitality Distribution, and National and International Wholesale and Seafood Processing Facilities. As the only company with a receiving and wharf facility in the area, we offer a unique opportunity to work directly with fresh, high-quality Seafood. Due to the continual growth of our organisation, we are currently seeking applications for Account Manager to be based on the Sunshine Coast.
About The Role:
This field sales position is full-time, reporting to the General Manager will be responsible for promoting the Company's products (Fresh and frozen seafood), and services and building relationships with new and existing accounts.
- Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts.
- Identify opportunities and generate leads.
- Assist customer queries about MRF/Superior Food products, prices, availability, and product uses.
- Start to end management of your customer accounts.
- Review and analyse weekly and monthly reports (call cycles heat maps, sales/gross profit margin data and account profitability).
- Perform administrative duties such as preparing monthly reports, sales proposals, quotes, applications and maintaining call logs and sales records.
All About You
- Previous industry experience in Seafood is highly desirable
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience working in a similar role as noted above.
- Superior selling and negotiating ability
- Prior experience in a fast paced customer facing environment.
- Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Be efficient with computers including Microsoft Suite.
- Must possess a valid Australian drivers licence.
