About your workplace

This position will be responsible for ensuring continual growth in sales from domestic MCA accounts through the development of relationships, customer plans and training to drive Miele brand advocacy and grow Miele's share of business.

About the Role:

This role will be responsible for:

Key Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers (MCA's)

  • Work across Miele's departments (sales, marketing, finance & operations) to gain support for customer initiatives to ensure successful execution

Innovation, Business Process, Sustainable Improvement

  • Create and drive customer plans to improve Miele sales performance

  • Fully understand the lead time and dates of customer catalogues / marketing activities to secure Miele's involvement

  • Communicate regularly with National Account Managers to understand plans for Key Accounts to ensure national alignment

  • Provide insights to customers and internally to Miele where opportunities exist to increase sales

  • Achieve sales objectives as detailed within Miele Sales Incentive communication (provided annually)

Training and Information (external & internal)

  • Provide regular and interactive in store product training sessions to MCA's to support key promotional initiatives

  • Weekly reporting to assist in the identification of capability gaps and opportunities within the MCA's

  • Receive direction from Sales & Product Trainers around content and delivery of planned in store education sessions

About You:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Business, commerce or technical degree preferred but not essential

  • Certificate IV Workplace Training & Assessment advantageous

  • Account Management level experience in retail, sales management or franchise industry - encompassing exposure to the white goods/small domestic appliance industry and businesses operating in a geographically dispersed network

  • Demonstrated track record in achieving sales targets.

  • Demonstrated ability to seek out and establish networking opportunities and make the most of both internal and external networking opportunities.

  • Ability to identify complex systems and process problems and look for practical solutions to overcome these in a timely fashion.

  • Ability to influence others effectively and negotiate at all levels

  • Demonstrated ability to identify resources, develop and implement plans to achieve outcomes to complex projects.

  • Demonstrated ability to generate original solutions and unique ideas.

  • Clear and concise communication (written & verbal) & excellent presentation skills are a must

  • Previous experience in product training highly regarded

  • Ability to confidently deliver product knowledge to individuals & groups

  • As the role will be required to travel to different retail partners, you will be required to hold a current drivers' license and own or have regular access to a vehicle

  • Regional travel is required
