Café Vianee is a vibrant, locally loved café nestled in the heart of Miranda. Known for our exceptional brunch menu, quality coffee, and warm atmosphere, we are expanding and looking for a skilled and passionate Chef to lead our kitchen operations and take our menu to the next level.

We serve a variety of premium café-style meals and pastries, and we're looking for a chef who can maintain high quality while driving creativity and consistency. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dishes that align with our commitment to excellence in both food and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Preparation: Prepare and present dishes according to the established menu and standards.
  • Kitchen Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all food items meet our quality and presentation standards.
  • Inventory Oversight: Assist in managing stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months in a café or restaurant kitchen setting.
  • Availability: Must be available to work at least one day on weekends.
  • Legal Status: Must have the right to work in Australia.
  • Skills: Strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
