High Street Bakery is looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team. You'll be working in a friendly, energetic environment, where we treat each other like family. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a fast-paced, supportive kitchen delivering high-quality, modern food with a Vietnamese twist.

About the Role

We are seeking a chef who has experience working in busy café kitchens, is confident in handling multiple tasks, and has a passion for quality food and presentation.

We're looking For someone who:

  • Has a minimum of 2 years experience in a professional kitchen

  • Can work 5 days across a 7-day rotating roster (Monday to Sunday)

  • Holds Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent trade experience

  • Has a flexible, reliable, and positive attitude

  • Communicates clearly and professionally with team members and customers

  • Takes pride in food presentation

  • Can work independently and consistently deliver a high standard of food

  • Is a team player and happy to assist others when needed

  • Has strong knowledge of food hygiene and follows safe food handling practices

  • Is able to order stock, check deliveries, and manage inventory effectively

What We Offer:

  • Full-time position (Approx. 38 hours/week)

  • Salary: $75,000 – $78,000 per year
