Video Content Creator
We're on the hunt for a talented Video Content Creator to join our crew of creatives, strategists, and digital thinkers. You'll help us deliver impactful, scroll-stopping video content for ambitious brands that want to stand out in the social space.
The Opportunity
This role is all about creative ideation and execution, producing high-impact short and long form videos for digital platforms, campaigns, and brand initiatives. You'll work across all stages of production, from concept to final export, and bring a deep understanding of what performs best online.
You'll be creating videos that not only look great but also drive results: engaging audiences, fuelling conversation, and boosting visibility. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from global brands to local legends, all while being supported by a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
What you'll be doing:
Creative & Strategy
- Collaborate with the video and social teams on content ideation, storyboarding, and concept development
- Conduct competitor and trend research to identify what's performing across platforms
- Develop creative strategies and pitch video concepts that align with brand goals and audience engagement metrics
- Optimise content for social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Meta Ads) using data, performance insights, and best practices
- Stay ahead of trends, formats, and algorithms to ensure our content always feels fresh and relevant
Pre production
- Develop creative briefs, scripts, shot lists, schedules, and budgets
- Source and manage locations, talent, and crew as required
- Create detailed production plans and timelines to ensure smooth delivery from start to finish
Production
- Filming and setting up shoots as required, keeping to budgets and timelines
- Film and direct shoots in studio and on location, ensuring high-quality footage and brand consistency
- Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment, maintaining strong attention to technical quality
- Collaborate with or brief other videographers and production crew when needed
Post-Production
- Edit and refine video content using storytelling, pacing, and visual flow to maximise impact
- Incorporate motion graphics, sound design, and animation to elevate storytelling
- Optimise videos for social media platforms, tailoring outputs for specific ratios, captions, and trends
- Manage file organisation and project archiving for future use and accessibility
- Ensure content meets agency standards and is delivered on time
Technical Skills:
- Comfortable directing or appearing on camera for internal or client-facing content such as vox pops, interviews, or behind-the-scenes features
- Experience creating trending, high-performing short form content for Reels or TikTok
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut and other video/motion tools
- Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom (CC/Classic) for graphic design
- Basic sound design skills are required
- Experience in project management / CRM software such as
- Ability to learn and adapt to using different software / applications and Al technology
- Colour grading experience is a plus
- Experience with 3D tools like Cinema 4D or Blender is a plus.
Your background should include:
- 2+ years of experience creating video content for social media, campaigns, or branded storytelling
- Proven ability to create engaging content that aligns with trends and drives strong audience engagement
- Comprehensive understanding of video production workflows from pre-production through to post
- Expertise in photography, videography, production, editing, and post-production.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
