The role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and commercially minded Product & Supplier Support Officer to join our fast-paced technology business. This newly created role sits within the product team and has been designed to support our growth by managing and optimising supplier relationships. You will play a key role in sourcing new suppliers, assisting with governance and compliance, reviewing costs, and ensuring products and services deliver strategic value and meet user needs. The role also involves strengthening reporting and data analysis, working closely with the National Supplier Manager, as well as collaborating with the development, legal, and reporting teams.
About you
You're a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, backed by experience in procurement, supply chain, product support, data analysis, or a related field. With sharp negotiation abilities and a high level of attention to detail, you're confident in analysing data, preparing reports, and delivering insights that support business outcomes. Well-organised and skilled in written communication, you thrive in managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with new and existing suppliers.
- Assist with supplier onboarding, contract management, and due diligence processes.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to define procurement requirements and specifications.
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Investigate and resolve supplier issues, including invoice and product concerns.
- Support supplier audits and contract compliance activities
- Ability to generate reports and analyse product data.
- Maintain accurate records of supplier details and product pricing to support invoice reconciliation.
- Support the negotiation of commercial terms and contract execution in collaboration with the Legal team.
- Monitor usage and performance of supplier products using BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and provide actionable insights.
- Contribute to stakeholder reporting, product reviews, and decision-making forums.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- A knowledge of the Legal and Conveyancing process will be looked on favourably.
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field advantageous but not essential.
