We're looking for Chefs to join our kitchen team and help us deliver high-quality dishes across our newly renovated Restaurant. If you bring passion, energy, and the right attitude, you'll feel right at home in our fast-paced, supportive kitchen.

About the Role

You'll run your own section, maintain high standards, and contribute to a smooth service. Every shift is hands-on, energetic, and never dull.

  • Roster: Casual, as-and-when needed, including weekends and peak periods
  • Latest finish: 9pm – no late-night closes
  • Physicality: Some lifting and movement required
  • Autonomy: Manage your section confidently and support the wider kitchen team

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes to a consistent, high standard
  • Work across a variety of stations — including grill, pans, and pastry — depending on skill and service needs
  • Support smooth kitchen operations and strong team communication
  • Maintain exceptional hygiene and food safety compliance
  • Use initiative and bring curiosity to learn and improve
  • Stay calm and effective in a busy, high-pressure environment
  • Step in wherever needed to help the team deliver great service

About You (This is the important part)

We're looking for good humans who bring the right mix of skill and attitude. Being great at cooking matters — but who you are in the kitchen matters more.

You are someone who:

  • Has minimum 2 years' experience in a similar culinary role
  • May have specific strengths — like grill skills, pastry experience, or strong all-rounder capability. If so, make sure to highlight these in your CV or cover letter.
  • Takes pride in producing quality food, every time
  • Shows up with a positive attitude and supports the people around you
  • Communicates well, listens well, and works well under pressure
  • Is reliable, punctual, and respectful
  • Stays calm, professional, and adaptable when things get busy
  • Cares about doing things properly — from prep to plating to pack-down
  • Enjoys learning and wants to keep growing your craft

Must-Haves

  • Minimum 2 years proven kitchen experience
  • Solid, up-to-date food safety knowledge
  • Availability for an as-needed casual roster
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A great attitude, willingness to learn, and genuine passion for food
