Amora Brisbane is a fully refurbished, 296-room, 5-star hotel in the heart of the CBD. Our food and beverage offering includes dapl Restaurant, Two Donkeys Café, Lobby Bar, In-Room Dining, and extensive Conference & Events operations, delivering modern Australian cuisine across all outlets and banqueting spaces.

About the Opportunity

As part of our planned growth and preparation for 2026, we are expanding our kitchen team and are seeking Chefs at all levels to join our professional, supportive culinary brigade in either Full Time or Casual positions.

We welcome applications from:

  • Commis Chefs
  • Chefs de Partie
  • Sous Chefs / Senior Chefs

Successful candidates will support breakfast, lunch, dinner and event operations across our outlets, with opportunities for cross-training in Conference & Events, based on business needs, experience and operational requirements.

We offer structured rosters with no split shifts, with placement into either morning or afternoon/evening teams.

Typical shift patterns include:

  • Morning: 5:00am – 1:00 / 2:00pm
  • Afternoon/Evening: 1:00 / 2:00pm – 10:30pm
What We're Looking For
  • Relevant trade qualification (or working towards for Commis Chefs)
  • Experience in hotel or quality restaurant kitchens preferred
  • Ability to work across buffet, à la carte and event service
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Flexibility to work rotating rosters, including weekends and public holidays
