About the Position
Our team of Customer Service Officers, (internally referred to as City Campus Services Officers) are responsible for providing customer-focused, front-line support services to students, staff and a wide range of stakeholders. This team embodies the values of Flinders University by being student centred, acting with integrity, showing courage, fostering innovation, and pursuing excellence.
Combining exceptional solution-focused customer service with a broad knowledge relating to Flinders University and the City Campus, our City Campus Services Officers are required to work within the City Campus hours of operation, being 8am to 8pm. Please note, this is a frontline service position and flexibility may be limited.
This role provides a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop on the job, expand your problem-solving and organisational skills, while working collaboratively within the team.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Assisting new and continuing students by providing transactional services and informed advice on enrolment matters.
- Assist future students with course options, entry requirements, fees, and admission processes, highlighting Flinders City Campus as a destination of choice.Connecting students and campus visitors to the appropriate contacts and resources within the University.
- Creating and updating documentation for new and established procedures within City Campus to drive consistency, efficiency, and accountability in all facets of front-line customer support.

As a Customer Service Officer, you will have experience in a high-volume, fast paced, demanding front-line customer service environment. You will be a reliable, supportive and adaptable team player who is passionate about assisting others and providing an exceptional customer experience. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to provide engaging support, warm referrals and create positive outcomes in a fast-paced environment. You will actively seek to improve processes, systems and procedures to elevate the overall customer experience.
