Operations Scheduler (Trades / Plumbing)

About the role

An established trade services business is seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role coordinating daily job schedules, liaising with property managers and tenants, and ensuring our field team is set up to deliver efficient, professional service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling and coordinating jobs to optimise routes and maximise productivity
  • Liaise with tradespeople, property managers, and tenants to keep jobs on track
  • Monitoring job progress and adjusting schedules in real time to respond to urgent works or delays
  • Maintaining accurate job records within our job management system (Simpro)
  • Following up on approvals, and outstanding jobs
  • Assist with office administration and customer service tasks

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in job scheduling, workforce coordination, or operations (ideally within a trade or maintenance environment)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-first approach
  • Familiarity with Simpro or similar job management systems (desirable)
  • Ability to thrive in a busy, reactive environment and make sound decisions
