Operations Scheduler (Trades / Plumbing)

About the role
An established trade services business is seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role coordinating daily job schedules, liaising with property managers and tenants, and ensuring our field team is set up to deliver efficient, professional service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Scheduling and coordinating jobs to optimise routes and maximise productivity
- Liaise with tradespeople, property managers, and tenants to keep jobs on track
- Monitoring job progress and adjusting schedules in real time to respond to urgent works or delays
- Maintaining accurate job records within our job management system (Simpro)
- Following up on approvals, and outstanding jobs
- Assist with office administration and customer service tasks
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in job scheduling, workforce coordination, or operations (ideally within a trade or maintenance environment)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-first approach
- Familiarity with Simpro or similar job management systems (desirable)
- Ability to thrive in a busy, reactive environment and make sound decisions
