Provide a customer focused service to staff and patients whilst ensuring that all inpatients are assessed and classified with regard to their financial classification (holder of private health insurance, MVA, DVA, worker's compensation, ineligible overseas visitors, defence force personnel, police force serving members etc).

Actively promoting and marketing encourages conversion of patients, with private health insurance, from non-chargeable to chargeable status. Liaising with appropriate areas to ensure that patient billing information is obtained in a timely fashion in order to meet Revenue Department requirements. This position contributes significantly to increasing revenue for the organisation.
