Customer Service and Administration Officer;

We are a well-regarded small, growing business with talented clinical and administration teams.  We help build hearing solutions for patients with permanent hearing loss across 2 hearing centre's located in the Southern Shoalhaven, NSW.

Our hearing solutions include surgical options such as the Cochlear Implant as well as Hearing Aids and Tinnitus solutions.

The service we provide changes the lives of our patients and helps them to sustain active and meaningful lives well into their senior years.  Each position within the hearing centre contributes to this outcome and we are driven to continue to serve our patients and their communities.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities.

We are looking for a bright, fun, team member who gets on well with and enjoys people. Your main role is to build relationships and to provide a reliable front counter service.  You welcome, direct and deliver assistance at the front counter and over the phone.

You use electronic systems including clinical appointment book, and invoicing (Xero) to manage your workflow. .

You support the clinic.  You help patients and clinicians, you troubleshoot and repair minor repairs at the front counter and assist clients with managing hearing aids and/or devices and liaise with clinicians when necessary

You work within a team to achieve a combined goal to build the business and support patients to achieve health.

You organise mail outs and recalls.  You reach out to patients and keep them on track with their maintenance and appointment schedules

Community events; all staff support and celebrate our clients and their relationships with our hearing centre.  Annual events at Ulladulla and Vincentia.

Communicate; internally and externally via internal systems, email, electronic diary and meetings (admin and team).

Learn and Develop; We encourage growth and this position can lead into the Quality and Performance portfolio, or the Audiometry cadetship.  For an employee who is driven to contribute, further development is supported. Leadership and contribution to business development is encouraged.

This job is 3 days per week.   School hours may be considered.  You may be asked to support our Ulladulla clinic.

Qualifications

Ideally you will have:

·      Minimum three years experience in customer service, book-keeping, administration, health or related field – Preferred

·      Excellent computer (Microsoft Office) skills. Please outline computer packages you are familiar with in your application - Required

·      Excellent communication and phone skills, with ability to interact and communicate with a diverse population, using sensitivity, tact and discretion - Required
