About the Opportunity

Located in our Subiaco office, Altrad is seeking a highly organised and reliable Community Engagement Coordinator to provide administrative support across our community and internal engagement initiatives. This hands-on role is responsible for coordinating scheduled activities – including sponsorship administration, internal communications, and event logistics – to ensure smooth and timely delivery.

You will be part of the Marketing team and play a key role in supporting meaningful connections with our people and communities.

Your day-to-day includes:

  • Coordinate daily administration of Altrad's engagement with Indigenous organisations, not-for-profits, and local community groups.
  • Maintain stakeholder contact lists and assist with meeting logistics and note-taking.
  • Prepare reports, communications materials, and documentation for community activities.
  • Support grant and funding submissions and manage sponsorship agreement administration.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate activities and support participation.
  • Assist with internal communications: prepare, schedule, and distribute emails and newsletters; manage approval workflows; track employee feedback.
  • Organise logistics for internal and external events, including bookings, catering, venue liaison, documentation, and on-the-day support.
  • Support creation of marketing content using templates; maintain records of marketing activities and engagement data.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to gather content and ensure alignment with engagement and sponsorship goals.

About you

  • Proven experience in community engagement, stakeholder coordination, or a related administrative role.
  • Strong organisational skills with a track record of managing multiple projects and coordinating events.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Experience supporting grant applications and sponsorship agreement administration.
  • Comfortable working with diverse stakeholders, including Indigenous organisations, non-profits, and internal teams.
  • Skilled in coordinating internal communications and managing approval processes.
  • Hands-on event coordination experience, including logistics, vendor liaison, and on-the-day support.
  • Familiarity with marketing content creation for social media and email campaigns, adhering to branding guidelines.
