The opportunity

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Campaign Coordinator to support the LiveLighter public education campaign. This role is responsible for delivery of one of WA's biggest government funded public education mass media campaigns.

As a Senior Campaign Coordinator, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end planning, executing and optimisation of a major campaign delivered across mass media channels. Reporting to the Food and Movement Programs Manager, you'll lead a dedicated team in delivering campaign activities that support the community in adopting healthier behaviours by improving access to tools, resources, and information.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys generating creative ideas, leveraging data to uncover insights, and managing campaigns from start to finish. You'll use these insights to shape the creative direction and continuously refine the campaign throughout its rollout, ensuring it delivers meaningful, measurable impact.

Based in Subiaco, this position is a full-time position covering parental leave from mid-January to 30 June 2026 with the strong possibility of extension until January 2027.

What you'll be doing:

⦁ Lead the planning, development, and delivery of a large-scale public health education campaign.

⦁ Oversee campaign execution and ensure campaign is delivered on time and within budget.

⦁ Supervise a cross-functional team in achieving campaign objectives and measuring success.

⦁ Strong communication skills and the ability to proactively engage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders that encourage quality outcomes for the obesity prevention strategy.

⦁ Identify opportunities to enhance campaign reach, engagement, and support through strategic partnerships and community-based initiatives.

⦁ Represent Cancer Council WA at appropriate meetings, seminars and other events.

⦁ Provide reports on campaign activities and its tracking progress, as requested.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

⦁ A tertiary qualification in marketing or health related discipline

⦁ At least 4-5 years' experience in a similar role.

⦁ Proven experience in leading multi-channelled marketing or public education campaigns.

⦁ Excellent project management skills paired with strong strategic thinking to effectively align messaging with insights.

⦁ Confident communicator with experience in stakeholder engagement and ability to influence others to achieve beneficial outcomes.

⦁ High level of attention to detail, organisational and time management skills (resourceful, proactive, initiative) and the ability to meet multiple, competing deadlines.

⦁ Passionate about improving community health outcomes.

⦁ Knowledge or understanding of obesity prevention/healthy eating issues is highly desirable.

⦁ Experience working in a public health/health promotion environment.

⦁ Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of Cancer Council WA.
