About the role: Production Baker

  • Strong focus on SAFETY FIRST
  • Compliance with all hygiene and food safety standards and regulations
  • Mixing and Processing of doughs to the required specification
  • Baking our products, ensuring a high quality finished product
  • Using previous experience to assist in troubleshooting issues
  • Cleaning as You Go
  • Accurate record keeping ensuring traceability of all products
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
  • Shift Pattern: Afternoon Shift - Monday to Friday 2pm to 10pm

To be successful in this role, you must be reliable, motivated, and have relevant experience. In addition, you will have:

  • The ability and willingness to follow all workplace safety practices
  • Knowledge and understanding of HACCP principles
  • The ability to work as part of a team in a manufacturing environment
  • A great work ethic and willingness to take direction
  • The ability to work comfortably in a cool room and humid environments
  • The ability to perform repetitive manual handling
  • Ability to lift up to 25kg

Ideally you will hold a minimum Cert III in Baking (or similar), however FULL TRAINING will be provided.

Previous bakery/snack food/food manufacturing experience (with mixing/blending experience) for these positions is required.
