Office Administration Assistant

Brauns & Co is an accounting firm specialising in accounting, taxation and business advisory and that provide a quality service to our clients.
We are currently looking for a part time/casual Administration assistant to join our team for two days per week, or reduced hours over three days (12 – 15 hours per week). We are flexible to suit school hours and holidays for the right person. Will consider start date of late January for the right person. The successful candidate will work onsite at our office in Camberwell/Hartwell.
About the role
Reporting to the Office manager, you will provide operational, administrative and accounting support to ensure the efficient operation. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Organise and maintain electronic and physical files
- Assist in distribution of completed tax information to clients
- Answering calls as instructed
- Attend to inward and outwards mail – paper and electronic
- Monitor client communication with the ATO
- Assist with preparing and processing invoices
- Assist in the preparing and sending written correspondence
- Managing of office operations, including ordering supplies and stationery
Skills & Experience
Candidate with experience in a similar role or administration for a business would be highly regarded, along with:
- Client focused with a professional approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders
- Strong time management skills, organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
