Moranbah State High School is seeking an enthusiastic and visionary Head of Department - Health and Physical Education to lead a dynamic team committed to fostering student wellbeing, engagement and achievement. This is a permanent full-time position commencing 22 January 2026. The ideal candidate
will be an inspiring educator with strong curriculum knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for empowering students to lead active, healthy, and balanced lives.

  • Build strong partnerships: Collaborate with students, parents, staff, government agencies, and community groups to enhance educational opportunities.
  • Strategic and responsible leadership: Apply relevant legislation and policies while effectively managing human, financial, facility, and curriculum resources to achieve departmental goals.
