About the Role

As a Payment Services Officer, you'll be responsible for accurately processing payments across multiple systems including Direct Entry, BPAY, Member Chequing, and NPP. You'll manage exceptions, disputes, and client queries, ensuring compliance with AML/CTF requirements and maintaining secure access to client funds.

You'll work closely with the Team Leader, Payment Services, and contribute to the smooth operation of our Payments & Corporate Member Services section.

This role is a 12 month FTC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process daily payment files and manage exceptions, returns, and disputes
  • Action card reports, cheque/deposit book orders, and direct debit stop requests
  • Respond to client queries and update member records accurately
  • Maintain daily/monthly statistics and advise Treasury on file values
  • Identify opportunities to enhance member experience and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management obligations
