About the RoleiEDM is a multi-disciplinary engineering, advisory and project delivery firm specialising in major events and sporting projects.We support Governments and large organisations around Australia by providing solutions to deliver dynamic projects that require a unique approach. With our skilled multi-disciplinary team, we work across sectors including sports, tourism, major events and urban infrastructureMore specifically we are engaged as the Engineering Project Manager and Principal Contractor responsible for the planning and delivery of temporary infrastructure required at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix and Avalon International Airshow events based in VictoriaiEDM are also involved in various other major events across Australia such as the Supercars Championship, LIV Golf Adelaide, AFL Gather Round and 2027 Rugby WorldCp.In addition to major event infrastructure, iEDM have been engaged as the Project Managers on a number of permanent capital works projects such as the Barossa Oval Redevelopment and Circuit Modification projects at Albert Park, Phillip Island and Adelaide and most recently, the North Adelaide Public Golf Course Redevelopmnt.We are searching for a Procurement Manager based in our Melbourne office to join the team to deliver the above-mentioned projects. You will join a highly skilled and diverse group of people from professional, event and construction backgrouds.Our projects are typically fast paced, dynamic and will require the applicant to think on their feet. The projects are exciting, challenging at times but veryrewaring.You will be a key contributor to various project teams to ensure procurement packages are prepared, managed, evaluated, recommended and contracted in line with frameworks set by our clients, typically government or large sporting organisaions.In addition to contributing to procurement, you will be involved in the ongoing contract management associated with the often recurrent works pacages.The applicant must demonstrate excellent communication, financial and written reportingsk**ills.Skills a**nd Atributes:This role would suit pAre degree qualified in a relevant field of study such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Experience in a procurement, purchasing, or supply chain role preferred (major event or construction project experience- is a plus)Ability to implement procurement best practices, tendering, contract documentation, probity, and procurement systems and sourcin- g strategie.Proficiencyin M- S Office Suie.Strong project coordination and stakeholder engagem- e nt capabilites.Excellent written and verbal co- mmunication sklls.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fa- s t-paced enviroment.Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills a- nd attention to etail.Goes about their work wit- h energy and enthsiasm.Thrives in a team enviPosition Title:Procurement ManageReporting to: AssociateDi**rector - CommercilKey Roles and Responsibilitis:The role of the Procurement Manager is to work within the commercial team to ensure sound and professional management of the contracts thatwe manage onbehalf of our Client.Generally, the roles and responsibilities include, but are notlimited to, the follownContribute to the procurement process through supporting documentation in accordance with Procurement Guidelines such as:- Procurement Register/Schedule- Acquisition PlansTender DocumentatioEvaluations and Recommendation-Contract DocumentatioOperation of the iEDM FMS software for contract management activities and maintain accurate supp- lier and pricing data;Lead supplier negotiations and coordina- te supplier evaluationAnalyse procurement data and prepare reports (regular and adhoc) for a range of audiencsSupport internal stakeholders through the tender- and contract review procssSupport group-wide procurement initiatives to drive process improvements and best practice governnceAssist with any project financial activities o- r investigations as requesed;Development of Supplier payment schedules and proce- s sing of Supplier payment caims;Provide clear and consistent reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager and AssociateDire- ctor - Commercial and Projec Team;Ensure compliance with iEDM's quality management**
