About the Role
Hastings Deering is on the hunt for a HSS Senior Data Analyst.
As a Senior Data Analyst you will:
- Providing Safety Data Analysis and Reporting as required for SDIA for both regular and ad-hoc business requests
- Develop and maintain strong systems governance principals supported by processes and procedures that ensure verification of and on-time reporting.
- Facilitate, co-ordinate and support the alignment of safety and sustainability data reporting and analytics across the SDIA Safety and Sustainability Networks.
- Provide support to SDIA audit requirements in relation to safety and sustainability data processes and reporting.
- Act as the key interface between digital solutions, stakeholders and the safety and sustainability team to support strategic outcomes and projects to improve safety performance
- Plan and facilitate user training for digital Safety Management Systems.
- Provide specialist advice on integration of the Safety Management System technology and reporting systems to progress innovation and support whole of business programs, including continuous improvement initiatives to support No Harm safety culture.
- Provide analytical support to assist with the management, development, review and implementation of the Safety, Sustainability and Quality management systems (Safety Management Systems) to meet the specific objectives of Company Policies and Procedure

About You
A successful candidate will have experience in:
- Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety
- Strong understanding of regulatory reporting for Safety and Environmental requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position delivering outstanding results and compliance
- Extensive experience developing, implementing and managing Safety, Sustainability & Quality Management systems and IT systems.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills and ability to deal with multiple stakeholders across business functions and business units
- Proficient user of excel including pivot tables, v-lookups and other advanced excel functions
- High attention to detail when reviewing multiple data sets
- Proficient user experience in Microsoft suite with a strong emphasis on Power BI, and Microsoft automation
- Experience in understanding and documenting business process flows, procedures, forms and other supporting documentation
- Ability to interrogate systems, analyse data and produce high standard reports.
