The National Account Manager will have direct responsibility for the account management of specified major accounts in the UK/Ireland and drive the delivery of the company objectives and growth.

This role involves regular online meetings with the AU and US offices that are not in a 9am-5pm time frame.
This role is responsible for the grocery/pharmacy and health channels in UK/Ireland, plus an understanding of Amazon account management is preferred.

In 2017 we launched our adult range of toothbrushes - NFco (The Natural Family Co.) that have growing representation in major retailers. With Melbourne as head office, Jack N' Jill has US and UK companies servicing those broader regions and the growth continues year on year.
About the role….
We are looking for a passionate and driven National Account Manager with a keen eye for data and numbers to join our Sales Team and be solely responsible for the UK/Ireland sales. The UK National Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing the profitability and presence of Jack N' Jill across existing key accounts while also establishing and growing new accounts.
Reporting to the AU Executive team, this critical role is responsible for the achievement of agreed sales, distribution, profitability, market share and promotional targets across all categories within the designated Customer Accounts.
Responsibilities in this role will include
- Deliver revenue, expenditure, profit and category share/growth targets.
- Effective management of customer relationships and joint business plans.
- Effective management of the category review process for all categories to key customers.
- Lead the post evaluation process of key category business initiatives within key customers to identify key learnings for application to future opportunities.
- Manage the promotional paradigm to create maximum sales & profitability for TSPC & key customers.
- Plan and execute trade marketing plans with accounts that fall under UK/Ireland portfolio.
- Develop and implement customer-specific strategic sales plans.
- Work closely with AU Sales/Marketing team.
- Be the lead brand representative and attend annual expo's (over weekends) to in the UK and Ireland. Trade and Consumer shows.
- Manage day to day trade negotiations with key customer contacts.
- Develop strong, effective business relationships with key customer personnel.
- Work closely and collaboratively with other internal functions to deliver business solutions.
- Accurately forecast based on all available information for key customer accounts provided monthly to Exec team.
- Develop new business opportunities aligned to Jack N' Jill's growth strategy.
- Identify and act on opportunities to achieve year-over-year sales growth.
- Grow revenue for key accounts.
What will make you successful
- Minimum 3 years National Account Management experience in grocery and pharmacy. (Essential). Ideally experience with Boots, Waitrose, Holland & Barrett.
- Significant experience in negotiating with strategic customers with proven positive business outcomes.
- Demonstrated advanced relationship building and strategic thinking experience.
- High level communication skills and ability to openly express ideas and listen and build relationships.
- Advanced Excel skills to provide innovative and accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Participation in networking and other relationship management opportunities to develop and grow relationships with key customers.
- Demonstrated business acumen which initiates change/continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated analytical ability and problem solving for better solutions.
- Ability to deal with complexity, detail and meet deadlines.
- Curious mindset and great team player
Key requirements to be considered:
- The position requires a person who can communicate at all management levels to ensure they can developing strong working relationships with key stakeholders within the business and with customers.
- The ability to work with flexible hours to accommodate time differences between AU/US/UK.
- The ability to commit to some weekend work to represent the company at expo's. (Approximately 4-5 per year)
- Exceptional communicator with a strong creative flair, coupled with demonstrated ability to articulate business acumen and strategic account planning skills.
- A proven track record in Account Management and Development, ideally within the retail or consumer brand industries. Experience gained in other industries will also be considered.
