Allied Construction is highly regarded market leader in providing diverse turnkey solutions for complex high-profile projects within the Infrastructure, Construction, Mining & Ports sectors. We pride ourselves on working collaboratively with key stakeholders from early contractor involvement (ECI) through to detailed design development to achieve optimum results for our clients.

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Estimator to join our team to support the continued growth of our construction services division, based at our Tomago office.

About You

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years proven experience as a Construction Estimator for projects in the NSW/Australian market.
  • Strong ability to analyse & interpret project specific RFT documentation, design drawings & detailed specifications.
  • Experience with preparation of detailed cost-based estimates for large scale projects.
  • Experience with supply & installation of structural steel, mechanical, piping (SMP)
  • Experience with Civil/Structural Foundations (desired).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritise workloads.
  • Excellent skills with all Microsoft Applications, specifically Excel.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project (preferred).
  • Strong commercial acumen and awareness to assess potential risks to the business.
  • Highly professional approach with clients and internal teams, with strong ability to build and maintain quality relationships.
