About the Role

Drumderg Services is seeking a dual-focused, highly capable Estimator / Project Manager. This critical role is designed for a professional who can own the full project lifecycle: from driving strategic bids and accurate estimation to taking full delivery responsibility for assigned demolition/civil projects. You will be essential in ensuring project delivery efficiency while maintaining our standard for high-quality commercial submissions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Bid Management & Estimation (Pre-Award)

  2. Lead the full oversight of tender preparation, estimation, and submission for a mix of project sizes.

  3. Provide commercial support to the team on variations and claims.
  4. Attend site inspections for tenders.
  5. Coordinate pre-award scope clarifications.
  6. Assist with scope clarifications, documents, subbie quotes, and quantities for bids.

  7. Project Management & Delivery (Post-Award)

  8. Plan and execute the full delivery of assigned demolition/civil projects.

  9. Manage client communications and contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
  10. Handle project variations, programs, and site progress reporting.
  11. Oversee site administration and subcontractor management autonomously.
  12. Maintain cost tracking tools, forecasting sheets, and prepare monthly WIP for the finance team.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
  • The ideal candidate will possess a blend of commercial acuity and hands-on project delivery experience.
  • Proven ability to manage both the estimation process and the delivery phase of construction/civil projects.
  • Strong experience in client management, managing claims, and variations.
  • Ability to work autonomously on project delivery and site administration, seeking guidance on complex commercial matters only when necessary.
  • Familiarity with project setup software like Workbench, ISOPro, and Procore (or similar).
  • Must be able to support the Head of Projects with client relationships & communications.
